Hello, I am Steph, Qualified Yoga Teacher living & teaching in the Essex area.
I first got into the practice of yoga after receiving a diagnosis of Rheumatoid Arthritis in my mid 20's. Yoga offered me a space to clear my head, focus on my breath and realise the importance of being in the moment. Letting go of what holds you back, showing up as you are and lifting the worry of what might happen. The practice also allows me to keep my body moving, helps with body posture, flexibility, balance and can reduce pain.
After falling in love with yoga myself, I am eager to share the beauty of this technique and its many benefits with others. My intention as a professional Yoga Instructor is to help my clients listen to their inner selves, find the courage to step out of their comfort zone, and experience all the joys that yoga can bring to you.
Not only does Yoga teach us to be present in the moment, quieten the mind, and temporarily shut out the background noise of society. It also welcomes us to be part of a community, to meet new people and make new friends.
I hope that I can teach my students what yoga has taught me.
