"The common misconception that you have to be religious to be spiritual"
It's a common misconception that you have to be religious in order to be spiritual. But in reality, there's no single way to be a spiritual person.
Spirituality is deeply personal & individual.
Spirituality is a broad concept with room for many perspectives. In general, it includes a sense of connection to something bigger than ourselves, and it typically involves a search for meaning in life.
Your life purpose - your dharma – is to walk this path as only you can. Finding your spiritual path is a life quest and not a weekend workshop. It requires honesty, integrity and a commitment to unearthing all that distracts you from Spirit.
If your looking to become more spiritual here are some tips:
🤍Explore your spiritual core. Ask yourself: Who am I? What is my purpose? What do I value most? These questions will allow you to notice things about yourself that will help you achieve fulfilment.
🤍Embrace your feelings, even the uncomfortable ones. If you want to connect more deeply with yourself (and the divine), stop numbing your feelings.
🤍Tune out the noise. If you’re caught up in what everyone else is doing, you may be addicted to the comparison game. Try meditation.
🤍Trust yourself. Your intuition will speak to you and it's your job to trust and follow it.
🤍Speak your truth. Once you open up about how you're feeling honestly, you will continue to attract and make space for the things you want in life.
🤍Mindful breathing. With consistent meditation you become less reactive and more responsive.
🤍Try yoga. Yoga is a physical technique that can help improve your spiritual wellness by reducing emotional and physical strains on your mind and body.
🤍Think positively. Once you start viewing things in your life in a positive manner, you will find yourself thinking differently and refocusing your mind to a happy, healthy place.
Why not give it a go and see how you feel.
Namaste 🙏
